¿What is the Sierra Nevada Forfait?

The Forfait is the Sierra Nevada Ski-Pass, necessary to have access to all the lifts of the ski resort.

Sierra Nevada Ski-Pass

As we said before, the Forfait or Ski-Pass is the entrance pass to the slopes, it is a card that entitles you to use all the mechanical ski-lifts of the resort and access to slopes, no matter what level you have, it is mandatory for all users to have a Ski-Pass.

There are 3 types of Ski-Pass that must be distinguished: Full day Ski-Pass, Half day Ski-Pass and Pedestrian Pass.

• Full day Ski-Pass: it can be used all day during opening hours of the station without limit of rides on all ski lifts of the station, for practicing ski or snowboard.

• Half day Ski-Pass: it can be used only half a day from 1:00 p.m. until closing, without limit of rides on all ski lifts of the station, for practicing ski or snowboard.

• Pedestrian Pass: pass limited only to the use of one of the cable cars (Borreguiles or Al Andaluz) with one ride up and one ride down the mountain within opening hours of the station, without ski/snowboard equipment or sled, only visitors..

Ski-Pass types:

• Benjamin Ski-Pass: 0 to 5 years old
• Children’s Ski-Pass: 6 to 15 years old
• Adult Ski-Pass: 16 to 59 years old
• Senior Ski-Pass: 60 to 69 years old
• Senior Plus Ski-Pass: over 70 years old

*Skiers under 5 years old, over 70 years old or people with disabilities from 6 to 12 years old apply a 100% discount on the price of the Ski-Pass. They only have to pay the cost of the Mandatory Traveler Insurance (S.O.V.) of € 5 per day.

Where to buy a Ski-Pass? You can purchase your Ski-passes here on the Blanca Nieve website and you will have them available at our store upon arrival, or buy them personally at the ticket offices of the Sierra Nevada station.

2019/2020 Season Calendar

Family Formula 3-7 consecutive days

Sierra Nevada family formula Ski-Pass 2019 2020 season: 30% discount * for children.

The news for this winter season at Sierra Nevada for families is that the family formul has included a 5% discount on the ski pass for adult members of the family group. Families with at least 3 members, adult and child, benefit from discounts on the family formula ski pass when they hire for 3 days or more. It is an important discount, around a 30% for children.

To be beneficiary of these discounts on the Sierra Nevada Family Formula Ski-Pass, it is required to present the family book. The Benjamin Ski-Pass for children from 0 to 5 years is not included in this family formula.

¿How to calculate the price of Sierra Nevada Ski-Passes?

When the days we want to ski match with two different seasons, the entire cost of the ski pass must be calculated for the consecutive days we choose:

Option 1. 5 consecutive days of ski pass. If the largest number of days that we are going to ski is, for example, 3 days in low season and 2 days in high season, then the price of the ski pass will be calculated for the total number of days in the season that most days belong to it. In this case the price of the ski pass will be the price of the 5 consecutive days ski pass in the low season.

Option 2. Equal number of days, 2 different seasons, the price will be according to the cheapest season rate. In this case the price of a 4-day ski pass, 2 high-season days and 2 low-season days, will correspond to a 4-day low season Ski-Pass.

There is also a Pass for the Parador chairlift (urban) that is a few steps from our Ski & Snowboard School and Rental. With this pass visitors can go up to the highest part of the urbanization and enjoy the views of the station and, on clear days you can enjoy the views of the city of Granada.
