Skiing in the Sierra Nevada. What is your level?

Beginner level

The resort has a total of 18 green slopes for the youngest skiers and for those who are just starting in this sport.

The green slopes are ideal for learning as they are wider than other slopes and have a low level of slope. Slopes for practising technique, improving your skills and losing your fear of falling. The slopes do not usually exceed 10-15%, so it will not be easy to pick up too much speed.

On the other hand, the blue slopes are for beginners, novices or intermediate skiers who have overcome the challenge of the green slopes and want to take on a bigger challenge. The blue slopes have a similar width to the green slopes but a slightly higher gradient, where you can reach higher speeds.
The red slopes (54 for skiing in the Sierra Nevada), are between intermediate and advanced levels. Suitable for all those who have more fluency, not suitable for beginners, as they are narrow and have got steep slopes. These slopes are ideal for those who are more confident, as they are very fast.

Expert Level

Finally, and for the more expert skiers, the Granada ski resort has a total of 7 black runs. The black runs are only suitable for the most expert skiers. Slopes with a steep gradient, sometimes almost 50%, many narrow runs, changes in gradient and bumps.
