1- Clean and dry them completely (this should always be done, even during ski days).

2- Check thoroughly if repairs need to be made to the base, upper face and edges or edges. It is very important to remove rust from the edges, with rubber stone.

When you finish each day of skiing you should let them dry completely, and do not place the leashes right after you stop skiing because they trap moisture and can rust the edges in the places where they are placed.

3- Place strong wax, 3 times the normal amount, without removing it to isolate the base. Use a wax at full temperature, "universal", or milder if the weather is warm. A heavy layer of wax protects the base from "drying out" during the summer and losing its wax absorption capacity.

Before using skis again,

Make a pass with the iron to soften the old wax and scrape everything, while it is still hot, before using the skis again. Then wax again and scrape.

4- You have to store them in a natural position, with the straps not too tight. As the skis have a curve, you have to make sure that they are not compressed at all.

5- The storage place should be dry and cool, away from sunlight, not on cement floor, and do not store them in a bag.

6- To transport them they must be wrapped with four ski straps, two on the blades and two on the tails, to prevent them from rubbing and scratching each other.

The two main belts should be placed firmly right in the place where the two blades, and the two tails, come into contact with their bases with each other.

The other two remaining straps, placed near the bindings, must be loose enough to ensure that the straps do not deform the natural curvature of the ski.

For high-level skiing, every detail is very important.

Ski bindings

1- You should check the joint screws and tighten them if necessary. On skis with a vertical plate, we must remove the fixings and first tighten the screws that fix the plate to the ski.

2- It is advisable to document the configuration of the voltage in use (Din). Write it on tape and stick it to the ski shovel.

3- You have to loosen the tension of the spring while they are stored, it is key to prolong the life of your fixings.Move back from the pressure (DIN scale) to the release setting, but no less than that, because there is the risk of losing the spring.

4- Place the heel in the upward position, so that the spring is unloaded.

3- Change the soles if they are damaged or worn. To avoid unwanted wear on the bottom of the boots, always put on protections before walking. With these protectors it is also easier and safer to walk.

4- The tongue must be in the correct position and always the hooks fastened with low voltage.

5- Store them in a cool and dry place.

All screws loosen over time. Always readjust all of them before the ski season.
