Category “A”: used ski equipment in very good condition.
Also catalogued as “red”. This category indicates a generally good condition and level of maintenance suitable for use over many seasons. Some characteristics are:
Excellent technical qualities and durability.
May have used bindings in good condition with some wear scratches or discolouration.
Screen printing with scratches. Upper cosmetics with scratches, but no major mishaps (no parts detached).
Sole perfectly sealed and waxed.
Sharp edges.
Category “B”: used ski equipment in good condition.
Also classified as “blue”. This category indicates a generally good condition of the ski equipment although with more pronounced wear and tear aesthetically; however, the technicality and durability of the material remain good. Some characteristics are:
Attractive price.
Perfectly filled and waxed sole.
Sharp edges.
Upper surface with small or somewhat larger scratches.
Bindings may be scratched or discoloured (perfectly checked and in good working order).
Category “C”: ski equipment with a degraded look, optimal functioning.
Also categorised as “green”. This category indicates greater wear at an aesthetic level because the material has been used for several seasons; however, its functioning is optimal. Some characteristics are:
Padded and waxed sole.
Sharp, good edges.
Bindings, which present no risk to the wearer, have greater signs of wear (discolouration and scratches, which are perfectly serviceable).
The top surface of skis with increased evidence of wear (scratches, discolouration).
The general condition is not detrimental to the performance of the material.
